PUCA Shoes
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT FOR PUCA SHOES | FASHION & APPAREL
BRIEF
Social media content production guided the entire creative direction for PUCA Shoes, a fast-growing D2C footwear brand known for its commitment to comfort, versatility, and modern design. Our goal was clear from the start: craft visuals that not only highlight the quality of the products but also elevate the brand’s personality across digital platforms. Every frame, every angle, and every lighting choice was built around expressing PUCA’s blend of lifestyle, function, and everyday style.
To begin the process, we immersed ourselves in understanding the brand’s tone and audience. PUCA Shoes isn’t positioned as a luxury label or a mass-market product; it sits in the sweet spot of aspirational yet accessible fashion. The visuals needed to reflect this balance. That meant creating content that felt polished, youthful, and social-media-ready while still retaining a sense of approachability. This foundational insight influenced the entire production strategy.
One of the core strengths of D2C footwear storytelling lies in demonstrating real-world usability. People want to see how shoes move, bend, support, and sit in different scenarios. To bring this to life, we structured the shoot around lifestyle-driven narratives rather than static product shots. Outdoor scenes captured movement, versatility, and environment interaction, while indoor shots focused on texture, material quality, and form. This dual approach allowed the final visuals to speak to both emotion and detail.
Lighting played a major role in shaping the visual language. Natural light was used to highlight breathability and comfort, while controlled studio lighting showcased structure, stitching, and craftsmanship. By switching between these two modes, the visuals communicated both aesthetic appeal and functional character — a balance essential for strong ecommerce presence.
Another priority was establishing a cohesive visual identity that PUCA could use across their website, product pages, performance ads, and social channels. Ecommerce content production works best when every asset feels like part of the same ecosystem. Colour tones, framing decisions, model styling, and background choices were all kept consistent to build recognisability. This helps a young D2C brand strengthen its online identity and stand out in a crowded category.
Movement was intentionally integrated into many frames. Slow walking shots, quick directional turns, and natural foot placement brought energy to the visuals. Footwear has life only when it’s in motion, and these dynamic elements helped the content resonate with consumers scrolling through social platforms. The result is a library of visuals that stop the scroll, hold attention, and communicate product value instantly.
The storytelling also focused on lifestyle context. Whether it was casual urban styling, everyday outdoor use, or minimal indoor settings, each scene conveyed a realistic scenario where PUCA’s footwear excels. This helps customers imagine the product in their own lives — a powerful driver of conversion in D2C ecommerce.
Every output was formatted for modern digital use: short vertical cuts for Instagram Reels and TikTok, widescreen edits for website banners, high-resolution stills for ads, and detail shots for product pages. This multi-format strategy ensures that PUCA can maximise every asset across the entire marketing funnel — from awareness to conversion.
The final suite of visuals positions PUCA Shoes as a contemporary, functional, and stylish D2C brand built for everyday movement. It strengthens the brand’s online presence, elevates product perception, and provides a versatile set of assets that consistently perform across digital channels. Through this ecommerce content production approach, PUCA now has a visual foundation that supports growth, builds trust, and communicates what the brand stands for.
